The 2021 Family Nature Fest at Garey Park is just around the corner!
During the four-day hybrid event, participants will enjoy a variety of fun-filledย online and in-person activities, crafts kits and more!ย ย The event is scheduled from April 22 to April 25.

Free for annual passholders or with the purchase of a Garey Park day pass
Stop by the gate house and pick up all of the supplies and instructions to make a Leave No Trace key chain, so youโll never forget these tools to help you enjoy the outdoors responsibly.

Stop by the gate house and pick up all of the supplies and instructions to make a kid-sized safari hat that will be perfect for your next outdoor adventure.
Park Activity:ย Family Trail Fitness Challenge
Come out Friday-Sunday during park hours and challenge yourself with this family-friendly workout challenge on the Meadow Loop trail. Be sure to check out the chalk obstacle course for the kids!

Stop by the gate house and pick up all of the supplies and instructions for an activity all about different types of habitats and the animals who live in them! Color the habitats, label them, and then match different animals to the habitats that they call home.

Free for annual passholders or with the purchase of a Garey Park day pass
Stop by the gate house and pick up all of the supplies and instructions for an activity to help your child learn about the basic parts of a flower. Theyโll make a flower with the provided supplies, and then label the different parts of the flower. Use the info. on the back to learn about how each part of the flower helps it grow and thrive!
Park Activity:ย Wildflower Scavenger Hunt (PDF)
Print out the check list and head out to the park to see how many wildflowers you can spot! Be sure to stay on the designated trails.
