Join Preservation Georgetown on Saturday, May 15, from 12 noon to 1:00 pm at Grace Heritage Center for the announcement of the 2021 Preservation Grant Program. Preservation Georgetown annually offers grants to assist with the preservation of historic residential or commercial structures in the greater Georgetown area that were built before 1960.
Attendees can meet with members of the grant committee and pick up informational packets at the event. Applications will be available online at https://preservationgeorgetown.org/preservationfund/ after May 15.
This yearβs program includes two phases. Phase One is open from May 15 β July 15 and must include ownership documents, project concepts and a review by the City of Georgetown Planning Department. Qualified projects will be notified of approval for Phase Two by August 1. Phase One requires a nonrefundable $10 application fee. Phase Twoβs qualified projects will have until November 12 to submit their final application.
