The gas station and convenience store located at 1402 Williams Drive (see map at the bottom of the article) opened on Saturday, August 7th and told Hello Georgetown their official grand opening will be on August 24th.
“We are super excited to be here,” Kimberly Guerrero, Manager of the Texas Born Georgetown location, told Hello Georgetown. “We’re ready for Georgetown to know that our doors are open and welcome them in, and show them that southern hospitality.”
In addition to their fuel stations, the company offers a variety of fresh made food including fajitas, fresh made flour tortillas, quesadillas, salad kits, tacos, queso and chips, salsas, cold drinks, snacks to grab and go, and special TXB branded water, coffee and jerky.
“We have a wonderful rewards program that will save [people] lots of money, especially on our fuel,” Guerrero said. “Our food is superior, I think they’re really going to enjoy the food and we just have a lot to offer here.”
Currently, the store will be open from 6 AM to 8 PM daily, but company officials told us they will be offering 24 hour service by early September.

06/22/2021 β We have another update about the new TXB convenience store coming to Georgetown!
The new location is expected to open by early to mid July and it will be the first brick-and-mortar market opening following the company’s rebranding from Kwik Chek to Texas Born (TXB).
“The rebrand to TXB emphasizes the Texas roots and values the brand was built upon – authenticity, hospitality and integrity,” the company told Hello Georgetown. “All existing Kwik Chek locations will be rebranded to TXB over the next few years, with several stores’ rebrands already underway.”
TXB in Georgetown will offer several dining options for lunch, breakfast and dinner, including new menu items like Texas Scorpion Bites, fried-shrimp tacos, and TXB Habanero Queso.
“The company carefully selected its product lineup to provide guests with on-the-go, non-GMO snacks and beverages that are indeed “Texas Born” by sourcing products and ingredients from local vendors.”
Guests will also be able to experience outdoor seating options complete with misting systems and fans to keep cool during warmer days. The outside eating area also features a hand washing area, “allowing guests to wash hands before eating without entering a bathroom.”
