Heidi’s Bakery is officially open in Georgetown!
Owned and operated by Heidi Martin, a 20-year Army Veteran and Pastry Chef, the company focuses on small batches of bakery items made from the finest ingredients.
“I want to bake things that make people happy,” Martin told Hello Georgetown. “Food is all about memories.”
Martin’s passion for baking is something that’s been largely motivated by her own memories of baking in the kitchen with her grandmother. She said she loves to create, “small batches of goodness,” for people.

While Martin can bake a variety of items, she is most known for her European style pastries including:
- Bagels
- Bundt and Coffee Cakes
- Scones
- Cookies
Martin said she also hopes to start offering a “Breakfast Box” soon which will include a variety of breakfast pastries.
Heidi’s Bakery is currently operated out of Martin’s home until she finds a brick and mortar location.
