Lulu’s Pie Shoppe is now offering some of their specialty pies at The Golden Rule!
“This week our Bananas Foster and Bourbon Cherry are available,” the company announced on Facebook. “If you haven’t been there yet you are missing out on a very cool place! We used Buffalo Trace Bourbon in both of these pies and the cherry pie has Luxardo cherry juice baked right in. What better way to wrap up your day besides a great bourbon, dinner and a pie!”
Brad Strittmatter, co-owner of The Golden Rule, told Hello Georgetown adding Lulu’s Pie Shoppe was a natural fit for their expanding dessert menu.
“We are always looking for local folks who are doing amazing things, and Lulu’s Pie Shoppe definitely fits the bill,” Strittmatter told Hello Georgetown. “We were familiar with them after seeing them at several events around Georgetown with the Georgetown Trailer Cooperative. We have been thinking about expanding our dessert menu and thought that it would be awesome to showcase Lulu’s Pie Shoppe. We are excited to expand our menu as well as introducing Lulu’s Pie Shoppe to all of our guests! ”
Guests can order pies at The Golden Rule during their meals, he added. Customers can also follow Lulu’s Pie Shoppe on Facebook or Instagram to see where their truck is going to be located during the week.
Lulu’s Pie Shoppe is a Georgetown based company that primarily sells pies made from all local and organic ingredients out of their vintage 1967 Mobile Scout pie trailer, Lucille. To learn more about the company, visit their website.
