It’s the perfect shady location for 4th of July outdoor activities including 60 Arts and Craft booths, 20 Food vendors, Kiddie Rides, Bounce Houses and Games along with a Petting Zoo. It ends with a spectacular fireworks finale.
Everybody is invited so bring your chairs, blankets and coolers and join in the celebration!
Schedule of Events
11am to 10pm – Festivities include kids activities, craft booths, food vendors and petting zoo.
11am – The Hometown Parade starts at the low water crossing on Morrow St, turns along Lower Park Road and ends at the Gazebo. Come walk in the parade wearing your best 4th of July costumes and be sure to bring the kids and their decorated bikes.
Noon til 10pm – Kids Activities and Give-A-Ways
12noon to 9:30pm – Entertainment at the Gazebo featuring some of the best local talent.
9:30pm (approx) – Fabulous Fireworks Finale
This event normally attracts 4000 to 5000 people to the park throughout the day. Admission is free. Around 9:30pm people will populate all the parking lots and high ground to view the “Fabulous Fireworks Finale” provided by GWPyro. Approximately 50,000 people view the display from the various viewing venues!
