On Thursday, December 15, the Williamson County AgriLife Extension Office will hold their county-wide pecan food show baking contest.
“Attention ALL Bakers,” the organization wrote. “Are you competitive and love to bake? We have a contest for you! Pick out your prize-winning recipe(s) using PECANS as the featured ingredient, fire up those ovens and get ready to compete with others for bragging rights and awards! Who will have the best pecan baked goods in the county? Join in the fun and letβs find out.”
Registration is on-site starting at 8:15 AM through 12 PM on the day of the contest. There are two age groups: Youth (Ages 8-18) and Adult (Over 18).
“Bring your baked goodies, and $5 per entry to Project Registration and Check-in at the Williamson County AgriLife Extension Office Training Room located at 100 Wilco Way, Ste, AG205, Georgetown, Tx on Thursday, December 15, 2022, between 8:15am and noon,” the organization wrote.
Projects and awards should be picked up between 4 PM and 5:30 PM that same day. For more information, contact the office at 512-943-3300.
