The Board of Trustees of The Wesleyan, a nonprofit senior living and healthcare provider, has named their new President and Chief Executive Officer.
Bethany Sisneroz, who has been serving as Chief Operating Officer for The Wesleyan since June 2019, will succeed Mark Lenhard, who resigned in October 2022 to pursue another opportunity, The Wesleyan said.
βMy goal is that we maintain and fortify a financial foundation from which The Wesleyan can continue to grow and thrive,β Sisneroz said. βNavigating through the global pandemic and aftermath has been a bit like riding a rollercoaster. But, I am confident that The Wesleyan has a promising future in store and I am excited to be part of shaping that.β
With over twenty years of experience in all levels of senior care, the organization said, Sisnerozβs list of accomplishments and credentials includes a earning Bachelor of Science degree from Southwest Texas State University, serving as Regional Vice President of Operations for organizations throughout Texas, and she is a member of the College of Healthcare Executives. Sisneroz is licensed as a Nursing Facility Administrator (LNFA) and was the first administrator in Texas to receive the American Health Care Associationβs Silver Quality Award for which she served as National Examiner, The Wesleyan added.
βWe were fortunate that we had many experienced applicants,β Board Chair Ed Komandosky said. βIn Sisneroz, we already had a proven leader with a deep understanding of The Wesleyanβs day-to-day operations.β
