Gatherings, an antique store in downtown Georgetown, has opened a sister store, Gathering’s – North, just down the road in the old white church building at 701 North Austin Ave.
The original store, which opened in 2007, has antiques and vintage-inspired home decor displayed in mall style atmosphere, whereas the new store focuses on European antiques and treasures, according to Gatherings owner Stephanie Ehrhardt.
“I look forward showcasing one of a kind treasures in the new store,” Ehrhardt said. “We just received a new container full of items from Belgium and France and we have an English one almost here.”
