Hello!
Happy Valentine’s Day! Here at Hello Georgetown, we want to share how much we love being part of such a wonderful community. You each make Georgetown a great place to live! 💖
It was a busy week in Georgetown with lots of updates to share. In business news, we’ve learned Outlaws and Gypsies is open, and Torchy’s Tacos and Namaste Dine-In are both coming soon! Also, we have an update on the former McCoy Elementary site.
As our community continues to clean up from the recent winter storm, the City of Georgetown has announced details for special tree disposal services for Georgetown residents. Learn more in this week’s newsletter.
Plus, as Spring Break, and the spring and summer months, approach, registration is open for the Georgetown Parks and Recreation Spring/Summer programs. We’ve also released our annual Spring Break guide, brought to you by NKB Dance & Expressions, with all kinds of local camps and programs for your kiddos!
Finally, check out our Education Spotlight from Huntington Learning Center and our new edition of Tech Tip Tuesday from Computek. Both are full of very helpful tips and information, including how screen time affects children’s learning and how to protect your privacy on Facebook.
These are just a few of the updates we have for you this week!
