ALZHEIMER’S ASSOCIATION CAPITAL OF TEXAS IS STARTING THE YEAR WITH STARTING FRESH 2024: EMPOWERING CAREGIVERS CONFERENCE IN GEORGETOWN
GEORGETOWN, TX, JANUARY 4, 2023 – The Alzheimer’s Association Capital of Texas Chapter in partnership with the Georgetown Health Foundation is hosting a Caregivers Conference at Georgetown Public Library on Thursday, January 18, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Join us for this empowering event, which will feature experts in health care and dementia care presenting on important caregiving topics. This event includes lunch and is free with registration.
“We are proud to bring this Caregiver Conference to Georgetown,” said Faith Lane, program director, Alzheimer’s Association Capital of Texas Chapter. “Whether you’re a professional caregiver or caring for a loved one, this conference is designed to provide you with the support, resources and inspiration you need.”
Session topics include discussions on housing, guardianship, health care planning, and a behavioral health session on disruptive behaviors.
