Walk to End Alzheimer’sĀ Williamson County Seeks Participants, Teams, Volunteers and Sponsors for this Fallās Event
GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, JULY 25, 2024Ā āĀ On Saturday, October 19, Williamson County area residents will join the fight against Alzheimerās at the Walk to End Alzheimerās Williamson County. This yearās Walk will move to Georgetown and will be held on the Southwestern University Campus at 1001 E. University Ave., Georgetown, with the ceremony beginning at 9.a.m.
The Walk to End Alzheimerās Williamson County is one of four planned across Central Texas. With more than 600 Walks taking place across the U.S. each fall, Walk to End Alzheimerās is the worldās largest fundraising event and supports the Associationās free educational programs and support groups, Alzheimerās care services and advancements in treatment and research.Ā Participants, teams, volunteers, sponsors and donors are needed for the Williamson County event.

Individuals can learn more information, organize a team or join an existing team atĀ alz.org/walk. Everyone who raises at least $100 will receive a free T-shirt. Last year, the Walk to End Alzheimerās Williamson County raised more than $74,600. This yearās goal is $87,000.
