- Classes and Faculty Discretion: Classes may still be held remotely, depending on each instructorβs decision. Instructors will contact students with specific guidance.
- Staff Instructions:
- Staff able to work remotely should do so.
- Staff who cannot work remotely should follow the Universityβs Inclement Weather Policy for reporting time.
- Essential staff will be notified about their schedules by supervisors.
- Campus Safety: Facilities Management crews are on-site to monitor and treat slick surfaces. Anyone noticing an area needing de-icing can submit a work order.
- Open Facilities (Jan. 21):
- McCombs Campus Center: 7:00 a.m. β midnight
- The Commons Restaurant: 10:45 a.m. β 8:00 p.m.
- The Cove and POD: 10:00 a.m. β 9:00 p.m.
- Library: Open via Pirate Card access
- Other buildings may open depending on staffing.
- Housing Precautions:
- Allow faucets to drip, open under-sink cabinets, and keep thermostats at 65Β°F or above to prevent frozen pipes.
