Georgetown, Texas β Wag Heaven Pet Supplies and Self-Serve Dog Wash has been recognized nationally by Pet Product News International Magazine (PPN) as its 2025 Pet Retailer of the Year Award Recipient in the category of Community Hero.Β
This special recognition, announced last month, was awarded by the Editors of Pet Product News, who were impressed by all of Wag Heavenβs efforts and successes through its community outreach.
In-person recognition will be announced at the 2025 Global Pets Expo at the Orange County Convention Center, in Orlando, FL, this coming March 26-28, 2025.Β Retail stores and service providers across the U.S. and Canada submitted applications to Pet Product News, showcasing and highlighting the innovative, creative and effective ways they support both pet owners and their pets.Β Ten independent pet specialty retailers earned the special recognition.Β

The Georgetown-based company, co-owned by husbands Jeff Manley and Jusak Yang Bernhard, has provided support to the community through Dog Wash Fundraisers, Drive-Through FREE Pet Food Giveaways, Low-Cost Pet Vaccine Clinics, Toy Drive Fundraisers, Pet Parades, and Pet Costume Contests, always supporting local dog parks, pet rescue and animal shelters, as well as local and national non-profit organizations.

Jusak and Jeff will be joined by their General Manager, Kim Caito, attending the 2025 Global Pet Expo in Orlando, Florida. This annual pet industry trade show provides a way for them to connect with other independent pet store owners across the country, as well as manufactures in the pet industry for inspiration on becoming better retailers.
