March 1, 2022 – Planet Fitness is officially open in Georgetown!
The gym opened in late December and celebrated their ribbon cutting with the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, February 24.

8/30/2021 – Planet Fitness is coming to Georgetown!
“A new 30,000 sq ft Planet Fitness is coming to Georgetown,” the company wrote on it’s website. ” Planet Fitness is the home of the Judgement Free Zone, a comfortable and non-intimidating environment. We provide free fitness training, a fully staffed and clean 24/7 facility, as well as many other perks for our Black Card Members such as free guest privileges, access to all 2000+ PF locations, hydromassage therapy, red light therapy, tanning, and more.”
According to the website, the new location will be at 1103 Rivery Blvd #3-307 and is projected to open in mid to late December.
