Little Land Georgetown Reopening in Georgetown!

11/3/2021 – We have an update on Little Land Georgetown!

The business will be owned and operated by Ernie and Debbie Beltz, and is projected to open in mid to late November.

“Ernie and Debbie are the founders of Little Land and opened the first Little Land in spring of 2015,” Ernie Beltz Jr. and Debbie Beltz told Hello Georgetown. “Little Land currently operates seven locations in Texas and ten in China. Ernie and Debbie currently own the original Little Land in Cedar Park, the reopening location in Georgetown and will open a third location at the Domain in Austin in mid-2022.”

Little Land serves children of all ages and abilities, they added, though the business typically sees children from birth to 8-years-old in their gym and classes. Additionally, if a child is developmentally younger, they often participate at an older age as well.

“Little Land offers a fun and developmentally appropriate play gym for families to play together while their children develop fundamental skills such as gross motor, fine motor, sensory, speech, language and communication skills,” the Beltz’s said. “We also offer a variety of classes and programs including Sensory Art, Music Exploration, Parent’s Night Out, Camps and we’re a family favorite for birthday parties! In addition to play and programs, Little Land offers pediatric occupational, speech and physical therapy services and we’re in network with most major insurance as well as Medicaid. For families interested in beginning therapy at Little Land, we have an online intake form.”

With nearly 20 years of working with children as a pediatric Occupational Therapist, Debbie Beltz, has long had a dream of opening a facility where all kids could play together. This dream came to life as Little Land.

“The way we play at Little Land is truly unique,” the Beltz’s said. “Each of our activities are designed to be fun for kids, but also designed to impact necessary skills that are needed throughout life. A child’s “job” is play… and we’re proud to offer a place where play is fun, but also purposeful. In addition to play, our classes are one-of-a-kind. Our team of therapists and early education experts have developed amazing programs including Sensory Art, Music Exploration and our Little Learner’s program.”

Families are welcome in on the fun as well as Little Land encourages families to play together, make memories together and grow together in the process.

“It is our goal to create community in each of our locations to meet the needs of both new and experienced parents throughout their families childhood years,” the Beltz’s said. “The Georgetown community continues to grow and more and more families are moving to the area every day. We’re excited to be a part of such a strong community, provide a place for families to come together and play, and offer classes and programs that positively impact future generations.”

The new location will have some changes, including some adjustments to make parking easier.

“The shopping center (Republic Square) where Little Land Georgetown is located can get quite busy,” the Beltz’s said. “The parking in the front of the center is usually full! Because of this, we’ve flipped the layout and moved the front entrance to the back. There is plenty of parking in the back, with a direct entrance to our facility. We hope that this change makes it easier for families to access Little Land.”

Little Land Georgetown is projected to open around November 20th, and they also said they are expecting a visit from Santa Claus on Sunday, November 28th.
