On Friday, April 29th, Lark & Owl is celebrating Independent Bookstore Day with a concert and book signing!
“We are so excited to bring Sara Hickman’s music to Georgetown,” Jane Estes, general manager & co-founder of Lark & Owl Booksellers, told Hello Georgetown. “She is a singer-songwriter who has been entertaining audiences for years. She served as an Official Texas State Musician from 2010-2011. I’ve seen her perform many times over the years and she is so engaging and delightful! She writes music for audience of all ages, but this concert will be adult-focused. The concert will be held inside our bookstore so it will be an intimate and special evening. People are certainly in for a treat.”
Tickets to the 7 PM show are $25 and can be purchased by clicking here. People of all ages are invited to attend.
After the concert, Sara is going to stick around and sign her book, An Eclectic Array of Texas Musicians Coloring Book. Sara did the artwork in this delightful coloring book, featuring some of the most recognizable names in Texas music.
