Infant CPR / First-Aid – Can be completed as part of training
High School Diploma
Full Background Check / Fingerprinting

Experience

Childcare: 1 year (pref.)
Early Childhood Education: 1 year (pref.)

Training

CPR / First-Aid
Food Handlers License

Physical

Observe, and respond to children’s needs, emergencies, and conflicts that might occur in the classroom, bathrooms, common areas, and on the playground.
Lift 30 pounds from the floor to a waist-high table multiple times during the day.
Reach a child 20-30 feet away within 30 seconds without danger to health.
Crouch at a child’s level, sit on the floor and reach a child on the highest piece of equipment

Calmly handle the daily needs of children & parents
Communicate openly & productively
Use good judgment while caring for children

Interpersonal

Possess a teamwork mindset, strong communication, organization skills, and problem-solving ability
Determine cognitive, social & physical needs of children
Communicate in the English language (written and spoken)
Be respectful and supportive of all families
Represent Wellspring in a professional manner within the facility and in the community
