Thursday February 13th, 2020. Please join us for an elegant evening fundraiser with Texas artist, Chesley Antoinette, to toast her upcoming exhibit, “Tignon: Headwraps among Women of African Descent” before it opens to the public.
This intimate Mix & Mingle affair will be held in the newly restored historic Old Town home of local arts and culture patrons, Michael and Kelley Worden.
Guests will enjoy Live Music by pianist/singer Jody Barry, Libations, and Hors d’oeuvres.
Midway through the evening, artist Chesley Antoinette will share insights into the nature of the collective works in her exhibit.
Proceeds benefit Georgetown Art Works — a 501 (c)(3) arts organization — and will support the Art Center’s efforts to elevate and enrich the visual arts landscape through exhibits, events, engagements and education that are accessible to the public.
Pre-purchase of tickets required (deadline: midnight, Tuesday, 2/11). Tickets are limited & non-refundable. Guests will check in at the door. Event is 21-years-old+ only. Attire is dressy casual.
