AGE of Central Texas is a regional non-profit organization that provides education and support to people all along the spectrum of growing older, no matter where they are on that journey.
AGE serves older adults and caregivers through its primary, interrelated programs: adult day health care, caregiver education and resources, early memory loss support, health equipment lending, and peer-based computer classes for seniors. AGE has been serving older adults and those who care for them since 1986.
Round Rock Adult Day Health Center:
The AGE of Central Texas Adult Day Health Centers provide daytime care for older adults with physical or cognitive needs in the longest-operating licensed, non-residential Day Activity and Health Service Centers in Central Texas.
With convenient locations in Austin and Round Rock, open Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, the Centers provide a safe, vibrant, social environment for older adults who need support and care during the day.
Studies continue to show that adult day health care enhances the health and well-being of both older adults and those who care for them.
The AGE of Central Texas Adult Day Health Centers specialize in care for individuals with dementia or memory loss.
Each Center includes a full-time Nurse at each site to assist with medication management and health monitoring, and a full-time Activities Director creating stimulating and uplifting activities designed to engage mind and body β including music, brain boosters, exercise, and more.
We provide a community-oriented environment where our members enjoy all-inclusive therapeutic activities, hot and nutritious meals and snacks, and transportation options.
We accept Medicaid, Veteranβs benefits, long-term care insurance, or private pay at $60 per day β making the Adult Day Health Center your most affordable senior adult long-term care option.
