The Playful Child

The Playful Child, a 501c3 located in Georgetown, TX, was founded in 2018 in loving memory of Kade Damian and his joyful, playful spirit.

We nurture the mental and physical health of children & families by cultivating the healing value of unstructured play in our community. Play is the essence of childhood and it is essential to healthy, well-rounded child development. The physical embodiment of The Playful Child mission is The Kade Damian Healing Hearts Park.

We have established a contract with the City of Georgetown to design, fund, and build the 6-acre natural park and playspace.

The Kade Damian Healing Hearts Park will be located at 1306 Country Club Road in Georgetown right along the San Gabriel Trail. The park is being designed to encourage unstructured play for everyone in a unique natural setting.
