Saturday November 24th. Kick-off the Holiday Shopping Season at Shop Small Saturday in beautiful, Holiday Decorated, Downtown Georgetown!
Play Shop Small Bingo and be included in the drawing for a Shop Small Georgetown Special Gift Basket featuring gift certificates to local restaurants as well as local art.
Friday November 23rd – At 5:30 on Friday after Thanksgiving Downtown Georgetown kicks off the Holiday season with The Lighting of the Square!
Mayor Dale Ross and Santa will flip the switch on thousands of lights across the Most Beautiful Town Square in Texas. Sing along with the Austin Carolers, find unique gifts because the shops will be open late and you can get your picture taken with Santa inside the courthouse.
Friday and Saturday November 30th and December 1st. Bring the whole family and come out this year for the 38th annual Christmas Stroll! The Georgetown Square will come to life with Christmas Magic and Sparkle.
Enjoy the season on the Most Beautiful Town Square in Texas with twinkling white lights in the trees, old fashioned lamp poles dressed for the holiday, a Christmas Tree Farm and Santa Clause waiting to visit with your children. Some of the sights of Christmas include Bethlehem Village and The Grinch’s Whoo-Village.

Come join us for the Annual Christmas Stroll Parade, Saturday, December 2 at 10am.
The parade begins at the corner of E 2nd Street and S Church Street. The parade will travel South on S Church Street, then West on 10th Street, North on Austin Avenue and East on 5th Street.

Sunday December 9th, 2018. Runners unite for the 5th annual Reindeer Run, benefiting The Locker! Grab your running shoes and come out for a good cause. All proceeds of this race will be used to purchase items for kids in need. Be sure to dress-up for the costume contest!
Dogs Are Allowed!! New this year; Santa’s Village, including Christmas Shopping, Food, Crafts, Who-Hair, Photo Booth, Letters To Santa and Santa and Mrs. Claus! Plus 25 Silly Stations.
What’s more fun than a Christmas Play? This Christmas enjoy two Holiday Shows at the Georgetown Palace Theatre Main Stage and the Palace Playhouse! White Christmas and Farndale…A Christmas Carol: A Comedy.
The Boy Scout Christmas Tree Lot is located at 2427 Williams Drive, next to The Pit BBQ.
The lot is run by Georgetown Boy Scout Troop 155, they have several types of trees and wreaths in stock, coming from Oregon, Washington and North Carolina. All of the trees are already set up with water so they don’t dry out before you find the perfect one.
Benefiting Boy Scouts of America Troop 155 by providing funding for equipment, camping trips and summer camps.
Plus both HEBs, Walmart and Home Depot will be carrying trees this year.

Saturday December 8th. It’s the Christmas Holiday Celebration at Wolf Ranch Shopping Center!
Bring the family and enjoy the sights and sounds of the Holiday.
Friday December 14th. What a fun thing to do this Holiday season! Come to the Georgetown Rec Center’s Indoor Pool and Swim with Santa! Bring the whole family and don’t forget your camera! They’ll be serving Hot Chocolate and Candy Canes.
Bring the little ones and enjoy Breakfast with Santa! You’ll be served pancakes, sausage, juice and coffee prepared and served by firefighters and Rotarians!
After breakfast be sure to have your picture taken with Santa, the fee is included with breakfast.
During this Christmas season our favorite hometown Newspaper, The Williamson County Sun has set up a mail station in their office!
That’s right, just stop by and drop-off your letters to Santa in their mailbox at the front desk.
Blue Santa needs our help during it’s annual toy drive. A program of the Georgetown Police Department, Blue Santa provides toys to more than 1,500 children in need in Georgetown during its annual toy drive and distribution.
Each year, the Georgetown Police Department, its department volunteers, and volunteer individuals and businesses join forces to hold special events or set up donation barrels to collect toys. Toys are sorted into age-appropriate categories and special Christmas boxes are filled for families who apply for assistance.
Kick-off the Holiday Season with Georgetown’s Annual Shopping Event! Bring your sweetie or your friends or both for a great evening on the Most Beautiful Town Square in Texas! Formally known as Ladies Night Out and the Santa Shuffle.
Grab your boots and your “Best Western” outfit because the theme this year is “Deep in the Heart of Texas”.
Monday November 5th – It’s a Special Private Holiday Shopping Fundraiser Event at the Assistance League Upscale Thrift Shop!
Be the first to shop for your holiday gifts and decor. The Thrift Shop will be transformed into a magical wonderland for all your holiday shopping needs!
