Blue Santa needs our help during it’s annual toy drive. A program of the Georgetown Police Department, Blue Santa provides toys to more than 1,500 children in need in Georgetown during its annual toy drive and distribution.
Each year, the Georgetown Police Department, its department volunteers, and volunteer individuals and businesses join forces to hold special events or set up donation barrels to collect toys. Toys are sorted into age-appropriate categories and special Christmas boxes are filled for families who apply for assistance.

Come join us for the Annual Christmas Stroll Parade, Saturday, December 2 at 10am.
The parade begins at the corner of E 2nd Street and S Church Street. The parade will travel South on S Church Street, then West on 10th Street, North on Austin Avenue and East on 5th Street.
Friday November 23rd – At 5:30 on Friday after Thanksgiving Downtown Georgetown kicks off the Holiday season with The Lighting of the Square!
Mayor Dale Ross and Santa will flip the switch on thousands of lights across the Most Beautiful Town Square in Texas. Sing along with the Austin Carolers, find unique gifts because the shops will be open late and you can get your picture taken with Santa inside the courthouse.
2018 Holiday Concert Performed by the Georgetown Symphony Society
Sunday December 2nd, 2018. The Georgetown Symphony Society presents its Annual Holiday Concert! Start your Holiday Season with this traditional concert that will be enjoyed by the whole family!

Sunday December 9th, 2018. Runners unite for the 5th annual Reindeer Run, benefiting The Locker! Grab your running shoes and come out for a good cause. All proceeds of this race will be used to purchase items for kids in need. Be sure to dress-up for the costume contest!

A Holiday To Remember Performed by GHS Show Choir
Thursday, Friday & Saturday December 6th thru 8th. Make it a Holiday to Remember with the Georgetown High School’s Show Choir as they Countdown to Christmas.
Special guests each evening will be Frosty the Snowman and Santa Claus. Watch the GHS Show Choir as they perform Christmas favorites including songs from “The Polar Express” and “The Grinch”.

Annual Chanukah Lighting
Annual Chanukah Lighting on the Georgetown Square, December 2nd thru 10th at 5pm each evening.
The event takes place at the corner of 8th Street and Church Street in downtown Georgetown next to First Presbyterian Church.

Friday December 14th. What a fun thing to do this Holiday season! Come to the Georgetown Rec Center’s Indoor Pool and Swim with Santa! Bring the whole family and don’t forget your camera! They’ll be serving Hot Chocolate and Candy Canes.
Saturday December 15th – Bring the little ones and enjoy Breakfast with Santa! You’ll be served pancakes, sausage, juice and coffee prepared and served by firefighters and Rotarians!
After breakfast be sure to have your picture taken with Santa, the fee is included with breakfast.
