Aladdin at The Georgetown Public Library
Friday, December 27, 2019 at 2:00 pm – Take a break from Winter Break and watch Aladdin (2019) in the Children’s Room at The Georgetown Public Library.

Festival of Lights at Grace Heritage Center
Hanukkah 2019 will begin on the evening of Sunday, December 22, 2019, and ends on the evening of Monday, December 30, 2019.
Rabbi and Senior Elder of Messiah Echad Jonathan Dade will host the sixth annual public Chanukah Lighting outside Grace Heritage Center. The lighting each evening is at 817 South Main Street.
All are welcome. Begins at 5 p.m
Georgetown Chanukah Lighting (30 Minutes before sunset).

What’s more fun than a Christmas Play? This Christmas enjoy two Holiday Shows at the Georgetown Palace Theatre Main Stage and the Palace Playhouse! A Christmas Story and Dashing Through the Snow.

The Boy Scout Christmas Tree Lot is located at 2427 Williams Drive, next to The Pit BBQ.
BiG Brookwood in Georgetown is selling Trees, Wreaths and Poinsettias this year.
McIntires will be selling Trees this year and offering flocking too.
Plus both HEBs, Walmart and Home Depot will be carrying trees.
Blue Santa needs our help during it’s annual toy drive. A program of the Georgetown Police Department, Blue Santa provides toys to more than 1,500 children in need in Georgetown during its annual toy drive and distribution.
Each year, the Georgetown Police Department, its department volunteers, and volunteer individuals and businesses join forces to hold special events or set up donation barrels to collect toys. Toys are sorted into age-appropriate categories and special Christmas boxes are filled for families who apply for assistance. You can drop off at Pistons on the Square in October and December.
During this Christmas season our favorite hometown Newspaper, The Williamson County Sun has set up a mail station in their office!
That’s right, just stop by and drop-off your letters to Santa in their mailbox at the front desk.
December 20th, 21st & 23rd – Santa will arrive at Mel’s Lone Star Lanes around 11 AM and leave at 1 PM.
$50 for a private lane in Mel’s for up to 6 participants
for a private lane in CJ’s Sports Bar for up to 5 participants.
Shoe rentals are included.
Individual tickets are $10 per person. Individual ticket holders will be placed on a lane with other bowlers.
Bring your cameras for photo opportunities with Santa on the lanes and in front of Mel’s Christmas tree.
Don’t forget your letters to Santa, you can drop them in his mailbox. Please include a return address so Santa knows where to send his reply.
Vern’s No-frills 5k Jingle Bell Run
Saturday, December 21 – Every December we bring a little jingle and holiday spirit to Vern’s No Frills 5k. We will have some jingle bells that you can pin to your shoes or clothing if you don’t bring your own. Of course, if you want to dress up, wear your Santa hat or elf costume or some reindeer antlers, then the more the merrier!
Pet Photos with Santa at Petsmart
Saturday and Sunday, December 21st & 22nd from Noon until 4pm, join the team at Petsmart in Wolf Ranch Towne Center for Photos with Santa.
It’s recommended that you use your own smartphone to take pictures of your pets with Santa. They will have an iPad and will be taking pictures with it but it can take some time for you to receive your pictures.
If you download the free Petsmart Mobile App you’ll receive special filters you can use to create shareable images of your pets.
Breakfast with Santa at Berry Creek Country Club
Saturday, December 21, 2019, Berry Creek Country Club will host a Breakfast with Santa. Enjoy breakfast foods with Santa while decorating cookies and taking photos. Reserve a spot by calling 512-930-4615 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Santa and Reindeer Photos at Sweet Eats Fruit Farm
Saturday and Sunday, December 21st & 22nd – Sweet Eats Fruit Farm will have Santa and reindeer at their farm for photos all weekend. They will have all of their usual 30+ activities – pony rides, petting zoo, jump pad, pig races, treasure mountain, face painting, and lots more available on all dates.
Tickets are $16.
Saturday, December 14th, 2019. It’s the Christmas Holiday Celebration at Wolf Ranch Shopping Center!

Breakfast with Santa and Firefighters
Saturday, December 14th, 2019, from 7:30 to 11:00am. Bring the little ones and enjoy Breakfast with Santa! You’ll be served pancakes, sausage, juice and coffee prepared and served by firefighters and Rotarians!
At the event, children can climb on board a fire truck, visit with firefighters, and have a free picture taken with Santa.

U.S. Capital Christmas Tree Coming Thru Georgetown
Sunday, November 17th, 2019 – Did you know that the 60-foot Christmas Tree that will be at the U.S. Capitol will be coming through Georgetown? It will be making a stop here as it makes it way from Carson National Forest in New Mexico.
The journey will culminate with the official tree lighting on the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol building in early December. The city of Georgetown has decided to celebrate by hosting U.S. Capitol Tree Day in Georgetown on the Square.

Sing along with the Austin Carolers, find unique gifts because the shops will be open late and you can get your picture taken with Santa inside the courthouse. The Nutcracker – A Benefit Concert
Sunday, December 1st, 2019 – Two performances of The Nutcracker Ballet at 6 & 8pm at the Georgetown Library.
The cast in our Nutcracker will consist of dancers from Georgetown Dance Project’s Company Volunteers, and our students from our weekly community service classes at the Georgetown Boys & Girls Club!
100% of ticket sales benefit the Blue Santa Program! Tickets can also be given in exchange for newly donated toys at the door.

Come join us for the Annual Christmas Stroll Parade, Saturday, December 7th at 10am.
The parade begins at the corner of E 2nd Street and S Church Street. The parade will travel South on S Church Street, then West on 10th Street, North on Austin Avenue and East on 5th Street.

Friday and Saturday December 6th and 7th, 2019. The members of Wellspring United Methodist Church in Georgetown invite all central Texas church members and community residents to our 2nd Annual Nativity Open House & Display.
Celebrate the many ways Jesus’ Nativity is portrayed.
The exhibit includes tabletop multi-cultural and denominational creches from around the world.
The Display & Open House is free to the public.

Holiday Sing-along at Woops!
Thursday, December 19, 2019 – Celebrate the season by joining us at Woops! for a holiday sing-along. Georgetown’s very own Madison Jane will be performing holiday music from 6pm to 7:30pm.
Kids activity: Ornament decoration to benefit Helping Hands of Georgetown.
This will be a kid and family-friendly event. Enjoy the evening with great music and a hot chocolate, apple cider or a glass of beer/wine.
Friday, December 20th, 2019, 1:30 to 4:30. Free Event for Teens ages 12-15, the party will include pizza, drinks, snacks, video games, a dodge ball tournament, music, an ugly sweater contest, door prizes and more! Georgetown Recreation Center.
This event is free with a Georgetown Recreation Center Membership or $5 for a day pass.
