A memorial service for Georgetown firefighter/paramedic Kurt Lentz is scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday, April 17, at Celebration Church, 601 Westinghouse Road. All are welcome to attend.
Lentz, 33, passed away Friday, April 11, after a crash involving his motorcycle and another vehicle on Hwy. 29 west of Wolf Ranch Parkway. Lentz was traveling home from work at the time of the accident and was wearing a helmet.
Lentz previously worked as a firefighter for Bexar County Emergency Services District No. 7 and joined the Georgetown Fire Department on Aug. 5, 2019.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the incident at the Cityβs request.
