We’ve put together a list of businesses, in alphabetical order, that we know are opening soon in Georgetown, Texas.

There’s a new Coffee Company coming to Georgetown! It’s 309 Coffee; the building is rezoned and they are getting ready to serve up some great coffee. The owners are hoping to be open Summer 2018. Learn More Here

A Gift of Time Adult Day Care is currently looking for a location. They expect to open in the Summer or Fall of 2018.
There’s no ETA yet but we do know that it will be by Discount Tire and Wendy’s off I-35!
CVS – Added 1/27/18
1102 S Austin Ave (at intersection with University Ave)
The strip mall, located at 1102 South Austin Avenue, (see map) is being considered by the City and developers as the location for the New CVS Drug Store. The building located just south of Golden Chick, on the same side of the street, would undergo some major changes. Learn More Here
Boomtown Escapes – Added 1/23/18

Opening is planned for mid April 2018.
Will offer adults and young people, age 12+, a place to go for some fun in the form of a Physical Adventure Game. Players can choose from 3 escape rooms, each with it’s own historical theme. Learn More Here
EchoPark® Automotive – Updated 1/16/18

As of the 1/16/18 update, there is no visible progress, just grass, trees and political signs at this time.
EchoPark® Automotive, a neighborhood-based approach to selling premium, previously-owned automobiles, is building a new store at 6801 S IH35 in Georgetown on the motor mile (just north of Mac Haik Ford).
Location: N Austin Avenue
Ewald Kubota will be expanding their operations to Georgetown. They recently received approval from the Georgetown City Council to rezone 5.6 acres on North Austin Avenue just South of Lakeway Drive. Expected opening is mid 2018.
Family Emergency Room at Georgetown – Updated 1/16/18

As of 1/16/18 Construction on the building is in full swing, with the foundation and metal structure in place. Not sure when the expected opening date is.
Family Emergency Room will be opening a new freestanding emergency care facility in Georgetown at the Wolf Ranch Shopping Mall. Bringing high quality, easily accessible emergency medical care to the Georgetown area.
Visit one of their current facilities at 3260 E. Whitestone Blvd, Cedar Park and 1925 S. AW Grimes, Round Rock.
Fortune Garden Chinese – Vietnamese Kitchen – Updated 2/13/18
Location: Wolf Ranch Town Center
It looks like there is still more work to be done on the restaurant, we understand that it may be a couple more weeks before the Georgetown location will be open. That would be around March 1st.
Fortune Garden has had a location in Round Rock for many years now and they are opening a new restaurant at Wolf Ranch Town Center in Georgetown.
Garey Park – 525-acres located along the South San Gabriel River donated by Jack and Cammy Garey in 2004 along with $5 million for park development. Expected to open in early summer 2018. Located on FM 2243, approximately 6 miles west of I-35.
Georgetown Gardens Weddings and Events – Added 1/16/18

HOLT® CAT – Updated 2/7/18
2101 Airport Rd
Holt Cat broke ground on their 85,000 ft facility January 30th. The 75 acres where Holt Cat will be is located along Airport Road and is tagged for small-scale industry and commercial use. The city is expecting to see more growth in this area.
Their expected completion date is summer 2019.
HOLT® CAT, a Caterpiller equipment dealer, is opening a new location right here in Georgetown at 2101 Airport Rd, just off of Interstate 35.

Natural Pawz Pet Supplies

Natural Pawz is one of the new tenants in the brand new Randall’s Shopping Center, mentioned below. We do not have an opening date yet for Natural Pawz.
Ken and I went by the Natural Grocers Site today and there is action! The dirt work, which started last week, is now in progress. We spoke with the Contractor and he tells us his completion date for the building is end of July, 2018!
As of 1/16/18 – We understand that one of the delays on the restaurant’s south side of the square location, is the low pressure gas line in the building. And, that the new high-pressure gas line has been approved by the city, but there is no word on when the work will be completed.
A Noble Sandwich Company is still working on their location on the south side of the Georgetown Square. In the mean time they have a food truck and their food can be enjoyed at various events around town including Rentsch Brewery and Mesquite Creek Outfitters.
Organic Nails & Spa

Palomar Coworking – Updated 1/16/18

As of 1/16/18 The building that will eventually house Palomar Coworking and The Well (more on the well below) is under construction at this time. The building’s owner, Karl Meixsell, is getting the ‘shell’ ready for the new tenants. (See images below under The Well).
Mr. Meixsell tells us that he is hoping to have his part of the renovations completed by the end of February 2018.
Palomar Coworking will be opening later this year on the second floor above The Well (mentioned below). Palomar will be a true coworking space with both dedicated desks, shared work spaces, a conference room, high-speed wi-fi internet access and more. They will even be able to set you up with a VPN (Virtual Private Network) in the event your company requires that kind of connection.

The Summit at Rivery Park is a high-end mixed-use development situated next to the Sheraton Georgetown Hotel and Conference center and the Texas Brownstones. It including office, retail, medical/wellness and restaurant space.
The Well – Updated 1/16/18

We spoke with Karl Meixsell, the owner of the building today and he is expecting to have the ‘shell’ of the building done by end of February, then he will turn it over to the tenants. And, that the final build-out by the tenants should be completed in 90 to 120 days.
That puts the opening at early July or August of this year. These dates are dependent on the weather.
Previous update – The Well will be offering Food, Wine and Whiskey and is going to be located right next to the Williamson Museum on the Georgetown Square.
Due to construction delays, the Well’s opening has been pushed back a bit. Owners, Scott & Wendy Weir, have their liquor permits and are finishing their drawings for more permits at this time. No word at this time on the opening date.
The Wish Well House Events Center

Update 12/4 – The Wish Well House Events Center has received approval from the Georgetown Planning & Zoning Commission to move forward with development. The Georgetown City Council approved the first reading of a special-use permit at the November 28th meeting.
The Special Use Permit for The Well Wish House will come before council for a second and final reading at a later date.
Wolf Crossing Development

Tiff’s Treats has officially announced that they will be opening a location in Georgetown sometime in 2019. They will be located in a Wolf Crossing Development on I-35 across from Wolf Ranch Town Center.
Williams Drive Retail Development – Added 2/7/18
There are two different projects in the works for Williams Drive.
Williams Drive Business Park located at 4475 Williams Drive, catty-corner from H-E-B, will be developing 9 acres with 8 lots, 6 for commercial development and two will remain open space.
The second development Cedar Breaks West located at 4652 Williams Drive just west of H-E-B is a 17 acre project that will be divided into three lots. ~From the Sun
Wolf Crossing Development – Updated 1/10/18
The future Wolf Crossing Development will be located across IH-35 from Wolf Ranch Town Center and south of Hwy 29. Expected to break ground in April 2018 with planned completion in 2019.
Tenants will include P. Terry’s, Jason’s Deli, Tiff’s Treats, Pet Supermarket, First Watch café and Salons by JC. The new development will also include a hotel, a grocery and an emergency clinic.
Wolf Lakes Village – Updated 1/10/18
This development still needs approval from the Georgetown City Council, which will probably happen in February; plans are to break ground in spring 2018 and be built out within 10 years.
The development would include 4 million square feet of space for corporate campuses, a cathedral, bell tower, apartments, homes and retail. Ms. Wolf McLachlan described a place where people could live, work, shop and play.
Located at Interstate 35 and Texas Hwy 29; the community would include a wedding chapel, three lakes, a plaza and arched bridges, a cinema, cathedral and 3500-seat amphitheater.
Zodi”x Upscale Cigar Lounge – Added 2/12/18
