Castlerock Pet Hospital is under new ownership!
Dr. Donnie Hoff purchased the practice in June 2021 from Dr. Margaret Stummer who originally started Castlerock Pet Hospital in 2001.
“Dr. Donnie Hoff was born and raised in Houston, TX where he began volunteering at a local veterinary clinic as a kennel attendant at the age of 15,” the clinic told Hello Georgetown. “He then worked his way up to being a veterinary technician, which he continued to do through college. He obtained his Bachelorβs, Masterβs, and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degrees from Colorado State University. He completed an internship at a specialty clinic in Colorado then subsequently practiced in Salem, OR for 1 year. Dr. Hoff then moved to Las Vegas and began working as an overnight emergency veterinarian where he met his wife, Nichole, who is a licensed veterinary technician that has been in the field for over 20 years. Together, they decided to move back to Texas in 2019 and immediately fell in love with the Georgetown town square while visiting for a job interview and chose to put down roots here.”
Hoff and his wife have been working at Castlerock in June 2020, and told Hello Georgetown they are excited to continue the traditions of the hospital established by Dr. Stummer. They live in Georgetown with their pets Mayday, a three-legged Bassett Hound, and their cat Camber.
“[We] are thrilled to be a part of the Georgetown community and look forward to serving the needs of their clientβs companion animals for many years to come,” Hoff said.
