Nightingale Bistro has announced they will be closing their doors on Sunday, May 29.
“It is with great sadness that we must announce our final day of service at Nightingale Bistro will be Sunday, May 29th,” the business wrote on Facebook. “We appreciate each and every one of you who joined us for a glass of wine, a hot cup of coffee, and/or a meal from our scratch kitchen. Your smiling faces made the hard work, stress, and struggle all worth it, but, while the spirit is still there, we can no longer shoulder the burden that the pandemic placed on our little Bistro.”
Located at 205 W. 6th St in Georgetown, Nightingale Bistro is inviting the community to come say goodbye in the days before they close, adding they are offering a 25% discount on all alcoholic beverages including retails wine.
“Please come by and raise a (subsidized) glass to our team here at Nightingale.” the business wrote on Facebook. “They poured their hearts into this restaurant, and we are so proud of the irreplaceable moments and memories that they created. Weβve avoided the clichΓ© French phrases for our whole existence, but it seems like itβs finally time. Au Revoir, Georgetown.”
