October 9, 2022 – Pops Dirty Soda and Sweets is coming to Georgetown, TX!
The business will serve dirty drinks including sodas, lemonade, sweet and unsweet tea, sparkling and flat water, and hot chocolate, all “made dirty,” by adding flavors, fruit purees and creams.
“Dirty Soda has been a huge trend in the western states, starting in UT, 12 years ago, it has recently started making its way across the country and we wanted to be the first ones to bring the trend to central Texas,” Cherie Hogan, Owner of Pops, told Hello Georgetown. “My husband and I are entrepreneurs. This is our first time dabbling in this industry and I’m excited to try something new!”
In addition to bringing dirty sodas to Georgetown, TX, Hogan said she’s also excited about how the business will allow her whole family to be involved.
“We just had our 5th baby this year and saw this business as the perfect one to bring our children into and allow them to be involved,” Hogan said. “Our oldest just turned 13 and it has always been our dream to help our children start/run their own businesses once they are able. It’s important to us that our children learn the skills behind running a business- hospitality, accounting, hard work etc. We believe that working together as a family will help to solidify our family bond and create a lot of opportunities to spend quality time together to learn and grow.”
Pops will be located at Wolf Ranch Town Center in the back of the Target parking lot and hopes to open by the end of October.
