Savvy Development is pleased to announce the opening of the Verde Vista Road extension that connects from Shell Road to Williams Drive!
This new road allows direct access to area neighborhoods as well as traffic off Williams Drive to Shell Road.
Travis Wilkes COO of Savvy Development says, “The residents of Georgetown have eagerly anticipated the traffic relief this road will provide, and Savvy Development is thrilled to have the project completed.”
Mayor Josh Schroeder adds, “We ‘re really excited to see this project get developed. I think it is going to have some great amenities for this side of town – restaurants and shops – so we are very excited about it.”
Several businesses set to open at the new development include Spec’s Wines, Spirits & Finer Foods, and fast-casual restaurant chain Culver’s. “We’re excited to be here, to be one of the only food options in the area that has our type of menu,” Jennifer Suplita franchise partner says. “We’re not just fast casual; we have fish dinners, pot roast dinners and items like corned beef sandwiches – things that you don’t see at a typical fast-food restaurant.”
Savvy Development plans to add retail, restaurants, a fitness facility, and office, to include medical and professional services to Verde Vista Commercial Park. Novak Development is building a 200 plus unit multi-family community on adjacent land purchased from Savvy Development.
Culvers is estimated to be complete in October, Spec’s has not set a start date. Novak Multi-Family is expected to break ground mid-year.
Savvy Development, who funded the road construction costs is a new locally owned firm with multiple residential and commercial properties in various stages of development. CEO Ken Schiller says “we look forward to partnering with the city of Georgetown and our fellow neighbors for years to come. We are residents of Georgetown and have a vested interest in our future.”
