Saturday April 11th, 2020 – Come to Family Nature Fest and enjoy beautiful Garey Park in the springtime.
This family-focused nature event features activities, crafts, food trucks and more!
The days activities will include; Seed ball making, Enviroscape demos, Bioblitz, Guided hikes, Wilco endangered species discussion, Solar viewing telescope, Fishing demos, Live animals, reptiles and bats, Wildlife rehab discussion, Yoga demos, Pony rides ($), Food trucks ($), Lawn games, Music, Photo booth and more!

Garey Park is located approximately 6.5 miles west of Interstate 35 on RM 2243 (Leander Rd.) and abuts the western-most edge of the City of Georgetown’s Extra Territorial Jurisdiction.

Cost – Garey Park entry fees are required, and some of the activities will include a fee.
Day passes allow day use for a driver and up to one passenger in a personal vehicle. Additional passengers are charged $2/person. Children ages 3 and under are admitted free. Entry is free on Tuesdays from September-May.
Fees are collected at the Gate House during park hours.
Passenger Vehicle (up to 2 people): $5 Resident/$10 Nonresident
Additional Person: $2 Resident/Nonresident
Children ages 3 and under: Free
