Saturday April 20, 2019 – Come to Family Nature Fest and enjoy beautiful Garey Park in the springtime.
The Earth Day Celebration will include hiking and activities, games and crafts centered around composting/recycling/ upcycling and nature.
More kid friendly activities for fee include a petting zoo and pony rides.
You can also have lunch at one of the food trucks or shop at the plant sale.
Garey Park entry fees are required, and some of the activities will include a fee.

Garey Park is located approximately 6.5 miles west of Interstate 35 on RM 2243 (Leander Rd.) and abuts the western-most edge of the City of Georgetown’s Extra Territorial Jurisdiction.

Day passes allow day use for a driver and up to one passenger in a personal vehicle. Additional passengers are charged $2/person. Children ages 3 and under are admitted free. Entry is free on Tuesdays from September-May.
Fees are collected at the Gate House during park hours.
Passenger Vehicle (up to 2 people): $5 Resident/$10 Nonresident
Additional Person: $2 Resident/Nonresident
Children ages 3 and under: Free
