Now You can add your events to our Georgetown community calendar! And it’s free!
Here are the guidelines, please read and follow them carefully:
All events must be in the Georgetown area (includes Jarrell, Walburg and Weir).
All events must be produced by Non-Profit businesses. If you are a for profit business (even if you are giving the proceeds to a non-profit) you need to check out our Power Ads here. https://hellogeorgetown.com/submit-your-power-ads-event-ads-here/
Before your first event submission you’ll be asked to Register with user name and password. You will use this to enter the site to add, remove and edit your events.
Please give our visitors something to read, a paragraph or two or more about the event, we will not allow events that only have a link for more information and don’t give us a good description.
Keep in mind that calendar events are added just as you submit them, so be sure you have all the information presented and it is clear and easy to understand.
Do not use all caps…or all bold text. Ads with all caps or all bold text will not be published on the Calendar.
If readers can purchase tickets online, please add a link to that location.
Every event submitted will be reviewed before publication.
You can upload your flyer for your event. But, we still need a description typed out or pasted in the description area of the form.
