On Saturday, March 18, the Georgetown Texas Photography Festival will host itโs 4th annual festival.
โThis yearโs event will celebrate the 175th anniversary of Williamson County,โ according to the Facebook event. โPhotographers were asked to submit at least three photos shot IN Williamson County as a way of celebrating and highlighting the beauty of the county. From Bartlett to Thrall, Hare to Cedar Park, examples of Williamson County images will include but are not limited to: birds, sunsets, objects, buildings, historic sites, downtowns, WilCo life and lifestyle, etc.โโ
The free event will be held in and around the Historic Downtown Georgetown Square from 10 AM to 4 PM. The festival is open to the public and will feature classes, photo walks on the square as well as networking and educational opportunities for photo enthusiasts, according to the Facebook event.

Classes will be held at the Georgetown Public Library in Hewlett Room 222 and will include:

- โCharacter Portraits: Inspiration to Capture the Soulโ with Dennis Kelley
- โUsing PhotoPills for Planning and Shooting Night Photographyโ with Shari Hunt
Additionally, a โHappiness Hour Meet Upโ with Linda Nickell will be held at the patio of The Golden Rule from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM.
โAll classes and photo walks [are] free, open to the public on a first-come basis with online registration,โ according to the festivalโs website.
