With Spring in full swing, All Things Wild Rehabilitation is holding their annual Springtime Baby Shower Fundraiser!
βSpring has sprung, and the little orphaned babies are flooding into All Things Wild,β the organization said. βTo celebrate the rebirth, regrowth, and renewal of spring, All Things Wild celebrates by holding a Springtime Baby Shower. Beginning on April 15, we will hold a an onlineΒ raffle of great prizesΒ and a baby registryΒ at Amazon with shower gifts for the baby animals.β
Spring is a busy time at the wildlife rehab center. To date, All Things Wild says theyβve taken in over 200 baby opossums and over 150 orphaned cottontail rabbits. The center has also seen 48 orphaned squirrels this year, with more sure to come.
βThis month we will also take in orphaned baby foxes, raccoons, skunks, and birds (lots of baby birds) to name only a few orphans,β the nonprofit said. βThe floodgate of wild babies is open!β
To help aid with the care and rehabilitation of the numerous baby animals who will come through the doors over the next several months, All Things Wild holds an annual fundraiser.
Some of this yearβs featured raffle items include a 3 Night Stay on the Beach, Duckworth Vodka, a Knitting Basket, a Wine and Chocolate Basket, and more!
βBuy raffle tickets for a chance to win amazing prizes supplied by our generous community of supporters and sponsors,β All Things Wild said. βWe will be holding the raffle drawing on Sunday April 24, 2022 @ 3 PM central. All winners will be notified by email and phone to coordinate delivery.β
Additionally, community members can support the nonprofit by purchasing items from their Amazon wishlist, and also learn what to do when they find a baby animal.
