The City of Georgetown will host a seasonal hiring event from 2-4 p.m. Friday, March 17, at the Georgetown Recreation Center, 1003 N. Austin Ave.
The event will feature free snacks, drinks, and giveaways, as well as on-site applications, interviews, and hiring opportunities. The Parks and Recreation Department is hiring lifeguards, swim instructors, camp counselors, tennis camp instructors, and an adventure camp specialist.
Pay ranges start at $12.50. Other benefits include flexible schedules, free membership to the recreation and tennis centers, free summer pool passes, paid certifications, and growth opportunities.
Summer jobs like these are great opportunities for teenagers, college students, and anyone looking for a fun way to earn extra money.
The Parks and Recreation Department is planning a similar event for 4-6 p.m. Thursday, May 4. More details will be posted closer to the event.
