Cupid’s Chase 5K and Fun Run Scheduled for February 11

Registration is open for the annual Cupid’s Chase 5K  and Fun Run which is scheduled for Saturday, February 11.

“Join us for the 28th annual Cupid’s Chase 5K Run/Walk, a Georgetown community tradition,” according to Georgetown Parks and Recreation. “The fun-filled family event will also include a Kids 1K Fun Run, for kids ages 10 and under. The 5K will be a chip-timed event.”

The 5K (for ages 11+) starts at 8 AM with the Kids 1K Fun Run (for ages 10 and under) scheduled for 7:30 AM. Both events will take place at San Gabriel Park.

“Once you run this race, you’ll know why people return every year,” the Georgetown Parks and Recreation Department said. “Besides being tons of fun, it’s a well-supported race, and it benefits the beautiful Georgetown parks.”
