East View High School Theatre will perform a special show for elementary school kids and their parents on Saturday, May 21.
The show “Rumpus in the Rainforest,” is a musical play geared specifically for audience members in first through fifth grade, and will be presented by the senior student cast.
“Rumpus in the Rainforest gives students a musical tour of the various levels of the jungle and reinforces in fun fashion the importance of the rainforest,” according to Bad Wolf Press. “Frog desperately wants to get off the jungle floor and see the sky—but who will help him climb above the canopy? The Jaguar loves the jungle floor, the Sloth family keeps falling asleep, and the Howler Monkeys have gone nuts.”
“The Rumpus in the Rainforest” will be performed at East View High School Theatre located at 4490 East University Avenue in Georgetown. There are two shows scheduled, one at 1 PM and one at 2 PM. Tickets are $2 and can be purchased by clicking here.
