Faith in Action’s annual “Fun Sock Drive” is underway and the community is invited to help them reach their goal of 300 pairs of “fun” socks for their clients.
“We would like the socks to be fun in nature,” said Program Director Tracy Barber. “We are not looking for sweat socks, but fun or fuzzy type socks to help brighten our clients’ day.”
The sock drive began in 2017 as a partnership with the Urology Team. “Faith in Action was already giving the clients a calendar and we thought it would be nice to add some fun socks and candy canes to their gift bags,” Barber said. “So, we partnered with the Urology Team for a “Fun Sock Drive”.
The sock drive is happening now through November 23. Donations can be made at any First Texas Bank in Georgetown, the Faith in Action office at 2995 Dawn Drive, Suite 106, or via the Amazon link https://a.co/8aFkGXf. Contact Faith in Action at 512-868-9544 to check their hours of operation.
