Non-Profit organizations who serve Georgetown and are members of the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce are encouraged to complete a Request For Consideration (RFC) to be chosen as the recipient of the class project for the upcoming Leadership Georgetown class!
The class project is designed to provide real time leadership skills through the completion of a project. The project may consist of a hands-on building task, a service project, a fundraising event, or any combination of those. All projects should be able to be accomplished in an eight month time span of October 2022 – May 2023.
Projects should not require more than 10 hours of work each month. This includes (but is not limited to) attending meetings, planning events, completing projects, etc.
For those viewing electronically, please click here to go directly to the application. To access the application later, you can find the link to complete the RFC at https://www.georgetownchamber.org/. For those who need a copy emailed to them, please email Wendy or Cat. Only online applications are being accepted.
Organizations must be a 501(c)3 in good standing, Georgetown Chamber of Commerce member, and submit their most recently filed Form 990 to the email listed above. If you are not required to file Form 990, provide your 501(c)3 approval letter and a letter of explanation as to why you are not required to file Form 990.
Requests will be accepted through Friday, Aug 26th at 5pm. Requests without complete documentation will be denied. The Leadership Georgetown Planning Committee will review all applications and choose the finalists by mid-September.
The finalists will present their proposals to the class on October 19, 2022.
