Georgetown Chamber of Commerce Names 2021 Award Recipients

The Georgetown Chamber of Commerce has named the recipients for the 2021 Georgetown Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards!

Several Georgetown residents and businesses received recognition at the event on January 20, 2022 which also commemorated 75 years for the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce. The award winners included:

• Chairman’s Service Award – Georgetown Family YMCA
• Ambassador of the Year – Jerome Morales
• Volunteer of the Year – Michele Jaroszewski-Webb
• Small Business of the Year – Mesquite Creek Outfitters
• Large Business of the Year – St. David’s Georgetown
• Martha Diaz Hurtado College Town Award – Russ and Gretchen Schaffer
• Citizen of the Year – Carlos Hernandez
• Jesse “Buz” Sawyer Award – Douglas Smith (Posthumously)
• Owen Sherrill Lifetime Achievement Award – Steve Bohnenkamp (Posthumously)
