Georgetown ISD Celebrates Seniors with Downtown Parade and Outdoor Ceremonies

Georgetown ISD is pleased to announce graduation celebrations and ceremonies for graduating seniors in the Class of 2021.

All graduation ceremonies will be held at the Georgetown ISD Athletic Complex
2275 N. Austin Ave., Georgetown, TX

Richarte High School: Thursday, May 27 at 8 p.m.
Georgetown High School: Friday, May 28 at 8 p.m.
East View High School: Saturday, May 29 at 8 p.m.

This is not a ticketed event. All guests are welcome to attend.

Community Parade:

Saturday, May 22 from 9–11 a.m

A Senior Parade will return to downtown Georgetown on Saturday, May 22 from 9 -11 am.

Seniors will travel south from Georgetown High School on Austin Avenue, around the Courthouse Square and north on Main Street where the parade will conclude at Second Street. Participating senior names will be called out during a live broadcast.

More information about these events, including a parade route and livestream links will be posted on the district website at www.georgetownisd.org/graduation2021.

In the event of rain, the district would use it’s official communication channels, including social media, to announce changes. Graduation ceremonies would move from 8 pm to 8 am the following day.
