Georgetown, Texas – The Georgetown Palace Theatre and the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians (HAAM) are partnering for a unique event, Saturday, May 17, 2025, the Renegade Revival Music Fest on the historic Springer stage.Β
The Renegade Revival Music Fest features a variety of musicians from across Central Texas, bringing them together for one special event right here in the heart of Georgetown, Texas. A little bit of country, and a little bit of rock ‘n roll, the fest features Kate Heron, Gilded Lows, Walkabouts, and headliner, Jack Barksdale. It’s the first of its kind in Georgetown, but hopes to be a staple on the square as an annual event.Β
“Our goal with the festival is to draw a new audience to the historic Palace Theatre, solidify community partnerships with HAAM and the City of Georgetown, and to show off the most beautiful town square in Texas,” said Ron Watson, Executive Artistic Director at the Palace. “We hope this event draws a lot of attention to the cultural district that the City of Georgetown has worked so hard to build. It’s also a fantastic opportunity to showcase new and upcoming artists in Central Texas.”Β
Thank you to HAAM for partnering with us to bring this unique event to Georgetown. A percentage of ticket sales will go back to the organization where they continue to provide access to affordable healthcare to greater Austin’s low income, working musicians, with a focus on prevention and wellness.Β
We would also like to thank our Title Sponsor, the City of Georgetown Arts & Culture program. They are responsible for procuring the designation of Georgetown’s Cultural District, a 40-block area surrounding the Square, as a special arts zone, which includes the Palace Theatre.Β
We hope you can join us in May. There are general admission tickets available, as well as VIP tickets that boast some great perks. Reserve your tickets today.Β

HAAM provides access to affordable healthcare for greater Austinβs low-income, working musicians, with a focus on prevention and wellness. Many Austin musicians are self-employed and have no access to health insurance or basic healthcare. They often work multiple jobs and struggle to pay for basic needs such as food, clothing and shelter, with nothing left for healthcare.Β
