The Georgetown Recreation Center’s “New Year, New You” challenge begins Monday, January 9.
“Get a jump start on your 2023 fitness goals with the New Year, New You Challenge,” the Georgetown Parks and Recreation Department wrote. “Take classes, try new activities, workout with a buddy and step outside of your comfort zone. You will accrue points for each of these health and wellness activities and will be rewarded when you hit various point levels. If you fill your entire BINGO card, you’ll be entered into a drawing to win an individual one month membership.”
Those who would like to participate can pick up a Bingo card at the front desk of the Recreation center located at 1003 N Austin Ave.
“The Challenge runs Jan. 9-Feb. 5, 2023 and is free for Recreation Center members, or with the purchase of a $6 day pass,” the Georgetown Parks and Recreation Department said. “Each box on the BINGO card must be initialed by the class instructor or Georgetown Recreation Center staff. Paid fitness classes are offered first time free and count toward points accumulated.”
There are a variety of ways to accumulate points. A full list can be found by clicking here. Details about each reward level can be found by clicking here.
