Household Hazardous Waste Cleanup Event March 16

Williamson County, TX — Williamson County and Waste Management are hosting a Household Hazardous Wate Cleanup Event on Saturday, March 16, at the Williamson County Expo Center, 5350 Bill Pickett Trail, in Taylor, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event is open to residents of Williamson County only.

When you arrive, remember that long wait times are possible. Please stay in your car and let volunteers unload your car. Bring products in original containers if possible, and only go through the line once.

Do Bring:

Acids

Aluminum

Antifreeze

Batteries

Brake and transmission fluid

Cleaning products

Lawn and garden chemicals

Lighter fluid

Paints, solvents, and varnish

Pesticides and herbicides

Don’t Bring:

Agricultural chemicals

Ammunition

Asbestos-containing materials

Compressed gases

Containers larger than five gallons

Dioxins

Explosives and fireworks

Industrial, commercial or business waste

Medical and pharmaceutical items

Propane cylinders

Radioactive materials

Tires

Please keep in mind:

1. Limit 5 containers per car.
2. Separate and group items before drop-off.
3. Properly seal containers to prevent leaking.
4. Do not mix or consolidate products.
5. Trailers longer than 16 feet will not be allowed.
6. No contractor or business waste will be accepted.
7. Haul containers in the back of vehicle away from passengers.
8. Bins and baskets used to transport items will not be returned to residents.
