Private Applicator Training November 14th
Annual Event Provides 6 CEUs for Pesticide Applicators
The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service will hold its Annual Last Chance CEU Program on November 14th in Georgetown.
The event will be held at the Williamson County AgriLife Extension Meeting Room, AG 205, Georgetown Annex Building 100 Wilco Way, Georgetown, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
βThis is a one-stop opportunity to fulfill your annual CEU training requirement for your Commercial or Non-Commercial Political Pesticide Applicator Licensesβ said AgriLife Extension agriculture and natural resources agent Gary Pastushok, Williamson County.Β A minimum of 5 CEUs are required annually for these licenses.Β Applicators holding Private Pesticide Licenses need to collect 15 CEUs over 5 years.Β This training will allow them to collect six CEUs in one sitting.Β
The cost is $50, and participants should call the AgriLife Extension office in Williamson County to reserve your slot.Β Fees offset the cost of a catered lunch, refreshments, draws and printed materials.Β
This program provides six TDA continuing education units including two laws and regulations (L&R), two Integrated Pest Management (IPM), one General (GEN) and one Drift.Β
