If you’ve ever wondered how to successfully grow fruit trees in Central Texas, the upcoming Master Gardener Monthly Meeting on May 9 may be the event for you.
“Did you know that peaches, pears, and figs are among the easiest fruit trees to grow in Central Texas,” according to the Master Gardeners of the AgriLife Extension Office. “Colleen Dieter is the owner/founder of Red Wheelbarrow Plants and Central Texas Seed Savers. Sheβs a life-long gardener and has over a decade of experience helping Central Texas homeowners design their lawns and landscapes. Colleen will present a FREE program on fruit trees and guide you in selecting the ones that grow best in Williamson County.”
The program will take place on Monday, May 9 from 7 PM to 8 PM at 100 Wilco Way, Room 226 in Georgetown, or online.
