A new podcast documenting community growth happening in Georgetown, TX has launched in the community.
“First Presbyterian Church sits just off the corner of Georgetown’s historic main square and has a front row seat to much of that change; where change is unfolding, so are the stories,” according to a press release. “These stories of change are the subject of a new podcast created by the church.”
Hosted by Rev. Dr. Bobby Hulme-Lippert, pastor at First Presbyterian Church, the podcast is entitled The Corner of Change: Stories from the Fastest Growing City in America, and features Georgetown leaders as they share their stories and tackle questions of change, the press release said.
Some of those questions include: What are people seeing and experiencing amid all the changes? What are some hopes and challenges, and how is change not only unfolding in our city but also in Georgetown residents’ professional fields and the lives of residents?
“The podcast uses the church’s unique perspective of being both a historical and physical landmark as well as a community within the community to illustrate change,” according to the press release.
