The Georgetown Public Library has announced they will be offering adult ukulele classes from January 10 to February 28.
βJoin us for weekly ukulele lessons for adults! Beginners to advanced players are welcome. This series of classes is for ages 18+,β the library said. βThe library can provide 10 ukuleles per class that you can take home to practice on. The course is 8 weekly sessions covering all things ukulele. Weβll meet every Tuesday from 4:30-5:30 p.m. at the library until the last session on February 28.β
Some of the session topics will include the basics of Ukulele playing, such as chords, strumming, tabs, theory, as well as pop songs, blues and more, the library said.
The classes begin January 10, and are free. Registration opened December 13 and can be accessed by clicking here.
