Georgetown, TX, September 8, 2023 – We are thrilled to announce the grand opening of the Commons Servery and Cove cafe and cordially invite you to join us for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate this exciting milestone. This will take place on September 14th at 10:30 a.m. on the first floor of the Red and Charline McCombs Campus Center. We can’t wait to share the remarkable transformations that have occurred.
Aramark, the food service provider, has invested over $3 million in comprehensive renovations. The result is nothing short of spectacular. From the open-concept kitchen to the impressive brick pizza oven to a brand-new action station, we can’t wait to show you the state-of-the-art improvements.
The Servery represents the University’s commitment to culinary innovation and community spaces. During the celebration, attendees will hear short remarks from Sasha Day, the Chief Growth Officer at Aramark, and Vice President for Student Life Britz Katz. Several booths will be open throughout the event, offering giveaways, tastings from our catering department, and sampling from local businesses.
