On March 8, 2023, Southwestern University will host itβs first International Womenβs Day Luncheon.
βThis yearβs International Womenβs Day theme is #EmbraceEquity, particularly discussing equity in work-life balance,β the university wrote. βAll are invited to attend. Tickets are limited.β
The program will include speakers from the Southwestern University community, both current and alumni:
- Laura Skandera Trombley, President of Southwestern University
- Kate Sarahan β23, Chair of the International Womenβs Day Luncheon Committee
- Kate Hayden Bracher β13, Manager of Effective District Systems, Texas Education Agency
- Minique Crump Pβ25, Supervisory Special Agent, FBI
- Deborah Secord, Managing Director, Head of First Line Risk Reporting, SVB
Individual community tickets are $25 each and include entrance to the event and a luncheon meal. Tables are available for purchase for $200 and will include six community tickets and sponsor two student tickets, the university said.
β Tickets are limited and are expected to go quickly,β the university wrote. βRegistration will close on Wednesday, March 1, 2023.β
