On March 8, 2023, Southwestern University will host it’s first International Women’s Day Luncheon.
“This year’s International Women’s Day theme is #EmbraceEquity, particularly discussing equity in work-life balance,” the university wrote. “All are invited to attend. Tickets are limited.”
The program will include speakers from the Southwestern University community, both current and alumni:
- Laura Skandera Trombley, President of Southwestern University
- Kate Sarahan ’23, Chair of the International Women’s Day Luncheon Committee
- Kate Hayden Bracher ’13, Manager of Effective District Systems, Texas Education Agency
- Minique Crump P’25, Supervisory Special Agent, FBI
- Deborah Secord, Managing Director, Head of First Line Risk Reporting, SVB
Individual community tickets are $25 each and include entrance to the event and a luncheon meal. Tables are available for purchase for $200 and will include six community tickets and sponsor two student tickets, the university said.
” Tickets are limited and are expected to go quickly,” the university wrote. “Registration will close on Wednesday, March 1, 2023.”
