On Wednesday, June 8, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Services will begin hosting a four-part class series about cooking while living with diabetes.
“Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service is hosting the βCooking Well with Diabetesβ series of classes,” the organization said. “This 4-part, hands-on course includes basic nutrition education to help you plan meals and prepare food for yourself and other people living with diabetes. You will receive a cookbook with over 25 recipes that will help you cook well for diabetes, and youβll prepare and taste some of them too!”
The hands-on course is $35 for all 4 classes and will be held Wednesdays starting June 8 through June 29 from 10 AM to 12 PM at 100 Wilco Way, Ste AG205 in Georgetown, TX.
Class size is limited, so interested participants are encouraged to sign up as soon as possible. Register at williamson.agrilife.org.
