The Caring Place has added dressing rooms to their store!
“Since COVID began, we have closed our dressing rooms,” the organization said in a Facebook Live video. “In fact, our dressing room was in the restroom, so it wasn’t super ideal anyway, and so during that time we had some amazing volunteers that made us new dressing rooms, and we’re super excited about them.”
Customers are asked to bring only three items into the dressing rooms at one time, and to place the clothes they are not planning to purchase on the rack just outside the rooms or back on the racks in the store.
“It makes it so much easier when we have a good space that you can try on things and you don’t have to take it home and just guess that it works,” the organization said. “So, help us keep those tidy and clean by following the dressing room rules, and just taking three items in there and then putting them back on the rack or where you got them or or buy them, of course, because all the things that you purchase here, support our mission to provide for the basic human needs of all people in our community.”
The Shops at the Caring Places are located at 2000 Railroad Avenue and are open Monday through Saturday, 11 AM to 4 PM.
